1936-D 50¢ WDDO-002

Description:  A spread towards the center shows on the date, lower gown, ground details, shoes, and IGWT.  A CW spread from a pivot at about 10:00 shows doubling on IGWT, the RTY of LIBERTY, close on the leaves below the R, and the date.  The combination of the two classes shows that the 3 is tripled and the 6 is sextupled in the date.

Die Markers:  Obverse Stage A: Three die scratches from the right upper side of the E in WE intersect at the right lower side.  Series of N/S die scratches below WE TR of WE TRUST.  Obverse Stage B:  Scratches at the E still present.  Scratches below WE TR are gone.  Reverse Stage A:  E/W die scratches through most of the letters in USA.  Reverse Stage B:  Stage A scratches are gone.  SW die gouge from the left upper area of the mint mark.
