Description:  A Class V CW spread shows on the BER of LIBERTY, the upper stars, and the upper leaves to the right of the head.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die gouge can be found to the left of the top of the 1 in the date.  Reverse:  The reverse is a doubled die variety listed as 1937 50¢ WDDR-001.

Description:  Class VI extra thickness shows on the letters in STATES OF AMERICA and the dots between those letters.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  The obverse is a doubled die listed as 1937 50¢ WDDO-001.  Reverse:  A die gouge can be found to the right of the bottom of the R in DOLLAR.
