1945-D 50¢ WDDO-001

Description:  A Class II spread toward the center shows on the lower left of the gown, the sun rays, very light on the acorns, leaves and stars behind the head and very light notching on IN and WE of IGWT.  Tripling shows on the sun ray below the gown.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Very many die scratches, in various directions, below the arm holding the branches.  Die scratch south from the bottom of the right drapery.  Reverse:  E/W die scratch, above the dot, between the D of UNITED and the first S of STATES.

1945-D 50¢ WDDO-002

Description:  A Class II spread towards the center shows as tripling on the lower gown, the lower sun ray and the right shoe.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Die scratch east from the T running through the Y of LIBERTY.  Reverse:  The reverse of this variety is also an RPM that is listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1945-D 50¢ WRPM-001.  It is a D/D Tilted (Rotated).  E/W and ENE/WSW die scratches on the rock above the DOL of DOLLAR.
