1945-D 10¢ WDDO-001

Description:  A very close spread towards the center can be found on the date.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Numerous horizontal and parallel die scratches can be found between GOD and the bottom of the chin.  Reverse:  A die scratch runs from north to south to the left of the leaves that can be found to the right of NIT in UNITED.  Parallel die scratches run from SW to NE to the right of the leaves that can be found to the left of the ERICA in AMERICA.  A short die scratch runs NE from the top of the I in PLURIBUS.

1945-D 10¢ WDDO-002

Description:
  A close spread can be found on the date, IGWT, and slightly on the designer’s initials.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A short die gouge can be found above the left side of the 9 in the date.  A die scratch runs ENE from the upper right side of the D in GOD.  Reverse:  None significant.

1945-D 10¢ WDDO-003

Description:  A spread to the north can be found on the date, IGWT, the designer’s initials, the tips of the wing feathers between the R and T in LIBERTY, the BER in LIBERTY, and the top of the bonnet.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die scratch runs west from the top of the T in LIBERTY.  A die scratch runs SW to NE to the left of the nose.  Reverse:  A small die gouge (dot) can be found below the O in OF.

1945-D 10¢ WDDO-004         “Best Of” Variety

Description:  Slight doubling shows on the date and is easiest to see on the horizontal crossbar of the 4.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  None significant.  Reverse:  The reverse has a repunched mint mark listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1945-D 10¢ WRPM-003.  It is a D/D Northeast.

1945-D 10¢ WDDR-001

Description:  A spread towards the center shows on the left star, ONE, and the lower left leaves and branches.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Parallel die scratches run from SSW to NNE to the right of the lower back of the bonnet.  Reverse:  A die gouge can be found just to the right of the U in UNITED.

1945-D 10¢ WDDR-002

Description:  A close spread towards the center shows on the lower left leaves and branches.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A short vertical die gouge can be found above the bonnet well to the left of the R in LIBERTY.  Reverse:  The reverse is also an RPM that is listed in the Wexler RPM files as 1945-D 10¢ WRPM-013.  It is a D/D Tilted (Rotated).  A short die gouge runs from the lower right side of the olive branch to the underside of the fasces.
