Comments: Because this is a doubled master die, all working dies for the 1955 P,D,S, and proof Roosevelt dimes had this doubling. Consequently, all 1955 dated Roosevelt dimes have this doubling making it interesting, but worthless. How well the doubling is seen will vary depending on working hub state, working die state, and coin wear.

Die Markers:Obverse: A NNW/SSE die scratch can be found just to the left of the lips. Parallel N/S die scratches can be found to the right of the L in LIBERTY. Reverse: A die scratch runs WSW from the left side of the flames to the upper leaves. Horizontal die scratches run through the DIM in DIME.
