1950 10¢ WDDO-001

Description:  A strong spread from a pivot of about 12:30 shows best on the designer's initials.  A light spread shows on IGWT and very light on the date.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Die chip (dot) between WE and TRUST toward the top.  Die chip (dot) in the field south of the R in TRUST.  Reverse:  Heavy to light die scratches show on and between the letters of STATES OF AMERICA.

1950 10¢ WDDR-001

Description:  A medium spread from a pivot at 10:00 on DIME, UNUM, the right stem and the right-hand outer leaves.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Large die gouge SE of the D of GOD.  Die chip centered above the W in WE.  Reverse:  Die scratch from the inner lower leaf on the right-hand side SW to the torch base.  Light die crack in the lower torch holder, SE from the left edge.  Die chip above the upper left D of DIME.  Light die crack from the right side torch base, SE into the field.

1950 10¢ Pr WDDR-002          “Best Of” Variety

Description:  Medium spread toward the center on EPU, OF AMERICA, ONE DIME, dot, and leaves on the right.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  None noted.  Reverse:  Short thick die scratch protruding below the bottom horizontal bar of the F in OF.  NW/SE die scratches starting from the torch base above the leaves and running through the leaves on the right side.
