Die Markers: Obverse: A short vertical die gouge can be found to
the right of the top of the 9 in the date.
A short die gouge runs SE from the bottom right of the G in GOD to the
top right of the R in TRUST. Reverse: Short die gouges run east from the lower R
and the lower T in QUARTER. A die
scratch runs through the center of the RTE in QUARTER. A strong die scratch runs through the lower
ER of QUARTER and into the lower D in DOLLAR.

base of the bust. Reverse: A die crack runs
down the eagle’s right wing. A die crack
runs from the S in PLURIBUS to the eagle’s left wing and then down the left wing.
