2006-P 25¢ CO WDDO-001

Description:  Doubling shows on the underside of Washington’s earlobe.

Die Markers:

Obverse:  Die scratches run from NW to SE through the L of LIBERTY.  A die scratch runs SSE from the center of the I in LIBERTY.  Two light, parallel die scratches run ESE from the center of the A to the R in QUARTER.  A short die gouge runs ESE from the left underside of the horizontal bar of the A in DOLLAR.  Reverse:  None noted.

2006-P 25¢ CO WDDO-002

Description:  Doubling shows on the underside of Washington’s earlobe.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Die cracks and die chips run down the profile from the lips to the underside of the chin.  A die chip can be found at the back of the lips.  Several die chips can be found on the left cheek SE of the eye.  A die chip can be found on the front point of the bust.  A die crack runs through the upper designer’s initials.  Reverse:  Die gouge run from WNW to ESE through the 2nd O and R in COLORFUL.  A large die chip can be found at the top of the 6 in 2006.  A die crack curves NE from the top of the 6 to the bottom right L in COLORADO and then curves ENE through the 2nd O in COLORADO.

Description:  Doubling shows on the underside of Washington’s earlobe.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die chip can be found to the left of the J in the designer’s initials.  Reverse:  A small die gouge can be found below the 7 in 1876.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Short, vertical die gouges can be found above and below the R in QUARTER.  A short, vertical die gouge can be found above the D in DOLLAR.  Reverse:  A short, vertical die gouge can be found between the lower R and A of COLORADO.
