2008-P $1 MVB WDDR-001

Description:  Doubling shows at the intersection of the 2nd ray clockwise from the head and the right arm of the Statue of Liberty.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die gouge (dot) can be found inside the lower E of BUREN.  A small die gouge can be found between the upper 8 and 4 of 1841.  A small die gouge can be found above the R of PRESIDENT.  Reverse:  A small die gouge can be found to the left of the bottom of the O in OF.  A die crack extends northeast from the top of the R in AMERICA.

2008-P $1 MVB WDDR-002

Description:  Doubling shows at the intersection of the 2nd ray clockwise from the head and the right arm of the Statue of Liberty.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die gouge (dot) can be found to the left of the lower 8 in 8th.  Small die gouges can be found above the 3, between the lower 3 and 7, and NE of the 7 in 1837.  Reverse:  A small die gouge can be found to the left of the top of the A in STATES.  A small die gouge can be found to the right of the top of the O in OF.   A short die crack protrudes from the bottom right side of the 1.

Description:  Doubling shows at the intersection of the 2nd ray clockwise from the head and the right arm of the Statue of Liberty.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A better grade is needed to determine die markers.  Reverse:  A small die gouge can be found above the D in the designer’s initials DE.

Description:  Doubling shows at the intersection of the 2nd ray clockwise from the head and the right arm of the Statue of Liberty.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die gouge can be found at the rim above the R in BUREN.  A die gouge can be found to the right of the second E in PRESIDENT.  A die chip can be found inside the upper P in the designer’s initials PH.  Reverse:  A die gouge can be found to the right of the D in UNITED.

Description:  Doubling shows at the intersection of the 2nd ray clockwise from the head and the right arm of the Statue of Liberty.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A die gouge can be found NE of the 8 in 1837.  A die gouge can be found to the right of the collar.  Reverse:  A die gouge can be found at the rim between the O and the F in OF.

Description:  Doubling shows at the intersection of the 2nd ray clockwise from the head and the right arm of the Statue of Liberty.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  Small die gouges can be found to the left and right of the upper R in MARTIN.  Die gouges can be found SE of the hair on the bottom right side of the head.  Reverse:  A die gouge can be found to the right of Liberty’s head and well left of the 2nd A in AMERICA.

Description:  Slight doubling shows on the right arm of the Statue of Liberty just above the sleeve of the robe.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A small die gouge (dot) can be found to the right of the top of the one in 1841.  Reverse:  A small die gouge can be found SW of the U in UNITED.
