1886 $1 WDDO-001

Description: Very minor split on the point of the eye-lid and a thick ear lobe to the south.

Die Markers: Obverse: Repunching on the 18 in the date, strong bar under the top serif of the 1 and a visible separation line on the bottom inside of the first 8 of the date. Light die crack from the bottom of the neck. Light die crack from the throat heading east through the hair behind head. Die gouge inside of ear. Reverse: Light die crack on the bottom of the second leaf. Break on the left side of the knot.

1886 $1 WDDR-001

Description: Very minor doubling seen on IGWT, most doubling evident on the bottom of TRU. Doubling also seen as extra thickness on the tips of the eagle's wing feathers.

Die Markers: Obverse: Light die crack at the base of bust. Strong die polish lines in all recessed areas of hair, ear, and nostril. Reverse: None noted.
