1924-S 1c WDDR-001          "Best Of" Variety

Description:  Extremely strong Class VI extra thickness shows on both wheat ears and stems, EPU, the dots, the upper letters of ONE, and OF AMERICA.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  A circulated specimen was examined on which no obverse die markers were found.  Higher grade specimens may yield some die markers.  Reverse:  A light die scratch extends from the lower B to the second U of PLURIBUS.  Two light die scratches run from the lower second U to the S of PLURIBUS.  Die scratches run north and NNE from the lower inside of the C in CENT.
