Description:  Very close counterclockwise spread can be seen on TRUST.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  The obverse is also a re-punched mint mark designated WRPM-007.  Spiked head die crack between W and E in WE.  Die crack across the base of the bust and through V and D of V.D.B. to the rim. Reverse:  The reverse is a doubled die designated WDDR-002.  None noted.

1941-D 1¢ WDDR-001          "Best Of" Variety

Description:  Very strong Class VI extra thickness shows the letters of EPU, the dots, both wheat ears and stems, and the outer most letters of USA.

Die Markers:  Obverse Stage A:  A die scratch extends east from the top of Lincoln’s bowtie.  Obverse Stage B:  Same as Stage A.  Reverse Stage A:  A die scratch extends NW from the upper left C of CENT.  A die scratch extends north from the upper right N of UNITED.  Reverse Stage B:  A die chip can be found on the bottom of the T in CENT.

Description:  Strong extra thickness shows on EPU, the dots, and both upper wheat ears.  Lesser thickness shows on both wheat stems.

Die Markers:  Obverse:  The obverse is a re-punched mint mark designated WRPM-007 and doubled die designated WDDO-003.  Spiked head die crack between W and E in WE.  Die crack across the base of the bust and through V and D of V.D.B. to the rim. Reverse:  None noted.
