1943-D 10¢ WRPM-002 "Best Of" Variety Description: D/D Southeast Die Markers: Obverse: A die gouge can be found below the right side of the horizontal crossbar of the T in LIBERTY. Reverse: A light die scratch runs ESE from the center of the M to the lower left E in AMERICA. Obverse Stage B: The Stage A marker has been abraded away. Obverse Stage C: Same as Stage A. Reverse Stage A: A die scratch runs from west to east inside the C in AMERICA. A long die scratch runs south from the E in EPU to the upper left D in DIME. Reverse Stage B: The Stage A die scratches have been abraded away. A short, strong die gouge runs WSW from the rim to the left of the first A in AMERICA. Reverse Stage C: The dies were again abraded and the die gouge from the rim is very weak.
