1977-D 50¢ WDDO-001          “Best Of” Variety

Description:  A strong Class I CCW spread shows on the date, the front of Kennedy’s neck, IGWT, and LIBERTY.

Die Markers:  Obverse Stage A:  A die gouge can be found below the right side of the O in GOD.  Obverse Stage B:  The die has been heavily abraded with numerous die scratches throughout the obverse.  Three parallel die scratches run from north to south through and to the right of the D in GOD.  Reverse Stage A:  EDS. None significant.  Reverse Stage B:  The die has been heavily abraded with numerous die scratches throughout the reverse.
